Halloween On Ice!

Standard

Took the kids to Halloween On Ice tonight.  (Thank you to my brother for the tickets!) We had a blast!

Was surprised that the strobe lights didn’t make me feel sick.  I loved the costumes they wore, not to mention the cool moves and good music.

Sami’s favorite part was when one of the skaters went on a hoop high above the ice doing maneuvers.  She had pink hair 🙂

Now Sami is BEGGING me to start her on ice skate lessons…I think I see some skates from Santa in the future.

Happy Easter! And other thoughts.

Happy Easter to all!

So sorry I’ve neglected this site.  Will try to get better about it these days.

I’ve a new job and absolutely love it!

I’ve finished three projects thus far this year.  JJ’s hat, a smock dress for Sami, and a tied fleece blanket for Sami.IMG_20150405_102626

(Sorry, I don’t have a photo of JJ’s hat or Sami’s fleece blanket as of yet)

JJ’s hat is an orange crocheted hat that I made with no pattern.  It used Lion Brand Wool-Ease Thick and Quick yarn in Pumpkin. Hope to make more for sell on my Etsy site.
Sami’s dress is made out of a mock smock fabric from JoAnn Fabric and ribbon I found in my drawer.
Sami’s fleece blanket was made out of blizzard fleece, also from JoAnn Fabric. Made a matching smaller version for her baby doll.

That’s all for now.  Time for some Star Trek and bed as there is work/school in the morning.
